It is located 12kms from Kadambathur Railway Station and 4kms from Manavur Railway Station. The nearest bus terminus is Perambakkam. The temple is around 4 kms from Perambakkam on Perambakkam-Thiruvalangadu Road. The temple can accessed only by share auto or own vehicle either from Perambakkam or from Manavur Railway Station. No much facitities available near the temple. |

Lord Muruga is here seen as Bramhasastha. As Lord Bramha was arrested by Lord Muruga and in order to continue the work of Lord Bramha, Lord Muruga manifested Himself as Bramhasastha. Here Lord Muruga is with 4 hands holding Rudrakshamala and Kamandalam on two hands at the back and Abaya Varadha mudra on two hands in front.This is one of the rare scene not seen in many temples. The temple is on the banks of River Kulathalai. |
