History
|
Demon vilvalan and vathapi were once troubling sages at a place called Vilvatharanyam. Sage Agasthiar ate demon Vathapi in the form of a mango and killed him in the stomach itself. The place where Agasthiar killed him is called Konnur (now part of Villivakkam) and the place where he burnt the demon such that he cannot reappear is called Koluthur( now called as Kolathur). |
