As Lord is the dwelling place of the three worlds, as He is omnipresent, omnipotent, oldest of all, fulfiller of all desires, giver of deliverance to worthy being and as He is the son of Vasudeva, He is called 'Vasudevaa'. He will be holding Conch and Disc on the upper left and right hands and Lotus and Club on the lower left and right hands. He is the Governing power of the letter 'Dhi' of Gayathri Mantra, 'Upastha Tattva' one of the 24 Tattvas and Urdhvapundra marked on the centre of the abdomen during the dark half of the lunar month, Jaggary and Sugar, Brahman Caste, male body, evening time, forms of incarnation, substances of 'cleanliness','Krutayuga' and winter season. He is in the 'Vayu' the god of Wind who is the door-keeper at the upper entrance of His abode and in Sun. He dwells in the head in 'Vijnanamayakosa'. He is meditated on as opportunity giver. |
