About Acyuta
As Lord is the manifestation of perfect knowledge and bliss, as He is full of perfect qualities and as He is of true will, He is called 'Acyuta'.
He holds the Lotus and Disc in His upper left and right hands, and the Conch and Club in His lower left and right hands.
He is the governing power of the letter 'Nah' of the Gayathri Mantra, 'Akasa Tattva' — one of the 24 Tattvas — and the Urdhvapundra marked on the right side of the throat during the dark half of the lunar month, and cakes made of common pulse and similar offerings.
He is to be meditated upon while eating sweet dishes.
