About Adhoksaja
As Lord is the embodiment of knowledge and He is born to Vasudeva who has control over the senses, and as He is known as Hanumanta who has killed 'Aksayakumara', He is called 'Adhoksaja'.
He holds the Club and Conch in His upper left and right hands, and the Disc and Lotus in His lower left and right hands.
He is the governing power of the letter 'Yo' of the Gayathri Mantra, 'Rasa Tattva' — one of the 24 Tattvas — and the Urdhvapundra marked on the right breast during the dark half of the lunar month, milk, beverage made of jaggery or sugar, buttermilk, a thick mess of boiled brinjals to which tamarind, chillies and salt are added, and edibles roasted in ghee and oil.
