As Lord is the governor of all senses and as He grants bliss to Rama, Bramha, Rudhra and others, He is called 'Hrsikesaa'. He will be holding Disc and Lotus on the upper left and right hands and Conch and Club on the lower left and right hands. He is the Governing power of the  letter 'RGO' of Gayathri Mantra, the letter 'De' of Mahamantra, 'Vak Tattva'  one of the 24 Tattvas and Urdhvapundra marked on the left shoulder during the light half of the lunar month. He is the custodian of the dish prepared from Greens, lunar month of 'Bhadrapada'  and 'Makararasi'. He dwells in the "Kuhunaadi".
