As Lord withdraws the entire universe in Him through creation, preservation, destruction and regulation, as He is the manifestation of bliss and as He has the body of dark colour, He is called 'Krishna'. He will be holding Club and Lotus on the upper left and right hands and Disc and Conch on the lower left and right hands. He is the Governing power of the  letter 'Yat' of Gayathri Mantra, 'Prithvi Tattva'  one of the 24 Tattvas and Urdhvapundra marked on the neck during the dark half of the lunar month ,drinking water and physical action. He dwells in the legs of beings. He is to be meditated on at the time of drinking sacred water, feeding milk to child and at the time of kissing kith and kin.
