He is the Governing power of the  letter 'Ma' of Gayathri Mantra, 'Sabda Tattva'  one of the 24 Tattvas and Urdhvapundra marked on the chest during the dark half of the lunar month,salad made of split green grams etc., Vaisya Caste, female body, the 'AYANAS',  morning sacrifice, substances of yellow color, 'Dvaprayuga' and rainy season. He is in the 'Vayu' the god of Wind who is the door-keeper at the south entrance of His abode. He dwells in the gross body, 'Pranamayakosa',' Bhoktas', 'Vasus', right side of the body and in the cheeks. He is meditated on while chewing 'Tambula'.
